Starting on 15 December 2025, Dr. Emanuele Polino, based at the Quantum Optics and Information Laboratory at Griffith University and recipient of an ARC Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (DECRA), carried out a research visit at the Quantum Lab of Sapienza University of Rome, hosted by Prof. Fabio Sciarrino. The visit to Sapienza University by Dr. Polino is an integral part of a collaboration project and is connected to the activities of the ERC Advanced Grant QU-BOSS – “Quantum Advantage via Non-linear Boson Sampling”- led by Prof. Sciarrino. The collaboration was made possible through the ARC–ERC Implementing Arrangement, which enables ARC-funded early-career researchers to collaborate with leading ERC-funded teams in Europe, fostering high-level international partnerships and advancing frontier research in quantum science. This initiative highlights the central role of Sapienza’s Quantum Lab as a leading hub for cutting-edge quantum technologies, while reinforcing the global engagement of Griffith University.
