Rome Techpole is joining the 2023 European night of Researchers

On Friday 29th and Saturday 30th September, from 6.30pm to 11.00pm, at the “Città dell’Altra Economia” were held shows, interactive workshops, activities for children and meetings with researchers with the aim was to bring people of all ages, in a simple and engaging way, closer to Science and Scientific Researches.

Rome Technopole joined the event as first multi-technological hub for teaching, research and technology transfer in the sectors of energy transition, sustainability, digital transformation, bio-pharmaceutical and health. The project is part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (Piano Nazionale di Ripresa e Resilienza – PNRR) and creates for the first time an innovation ecosystem for the Lazio Region, in which collaborate 7 Universities, 4 Research Institutions, the Lazio Region and the Municipality of Rome and other public bodies, 20 Industrial groups and companies.

In the dedicated stand, some of the research lines were presented through demonstration activities and meetings with the staff of the project partners. In particular, during the night of Saturday 30th we presented a demonstrator of an entangled photon source that is used in various secure communication processes through quantum cryptography.
